What We Saw

As you'll see on the map at left, this state park launch point is one of many access points to the Hillsborough River, one of the most organized and well mapped canoe trails anywhere. And access points are conveniently located in and near Tampa.

This park is one of our favorite places to picnic because of the wonderful canopy of trees that covers the table.
And the river is beautiful in this area. You'll pass water lilies and paddle under a lush canopy.
